The DoX books since were more hit or miss. I was loving Marauders and the Hickman half of New Mutants but books like X-Force or Fallen Angels did nothing for me. The main X-Men book, from what I read, was good but disjointed. Ultimately, it was an issue of X-Men that made me drop the whole line.
For many reasons, the main one being it's FAR veering off of the comic book. It completely eliminates continuity of every other xmen movie. Watch xmen origins, and then literally any other one (That includes The Wolverine). Count how many points are still remotely relevant in the following movie. I wouldn't say it's "good" but it's worth reading if only to see the Phoenix Force costumes and what the X-Men characters would do with absolute power. It has used many characters from throughout the X-men’s history so it’s great for old and new fans alike.
