Background, I am a user of Tradovate. It is very much an all-in-one broker + platform. Even live data subscription is pretty straight forward. Due to recent outages, I have been looking around for backups or alternatives. Ninja trader bought Tradovate last year and seems to be in the process of integrating the two platforms. Since the buyout Tradovate has had an increase in crashes, glitches, and a general feeling of instability to me (like screen blinking). Many futures brokers provide free data anyway (CQG or Rithmic) If you specifically need MBO then your choice is limited to Rithmic. IQfeed announced it as well. However, If you are not making money already, MBO won’t be of much help to your trading.
