If you want to abuse skill cards and all that jazz on Izanagi, Magatsu-Izanagi always wins because of its inherent Null Light/Dark resistances. You need to be fusing constantly, once a Persona learns all of its skills (and even before then really) it's time to move on and fuse it off. To get a skill card off a persona they have to know said move and have the icon to get it. Oh that's what he meant. Objectively right.
