It came with a DH style stock and an era recoil pad, of which I do not know the history, without getting a letter. Plus, it had ejectors installed at some point. Overall, a great grouse and woodcock gun!On the bottom of the barrel lug should be a number stamped-- a 1, 1 1/2, or 2--that is the frame size--the higher the number the heavier the frame. All these factors, and of course the condition of the gun are important in determining gun value. Hopefully you can put some pictures up and we can tell you more. Operations. My father took ducks with a 20 gauge Trojan imp cylinder and mod back in the 30's using modest 7/8 oz loads, but I think he waited to smell their breath before he shot.
