I've used Instacart for years with no issues, but today this exact scam happened to me, and I won't be using it again. The shopper picked out our items suspiciously quickly, and added 10x quantities to expensive items, adding on over $100 to the order. In the chat, he said his app glitched but he spoke to customer service and it was all good.That batch is an obvious scam and if support can't see it, they're denser than a black hole. Wouldn't be surprised if Instacart is on the forefront of these language models (ChatGPT, Bard). Instacart in my area says they'll guarantee $74 if you complete at least 4 batches today but most batches are doubles, triples and they only count a double or triple as 1 batch apparently. It's almost impossible to do 4 without making more then the $74. This promotion is pretty much worthless.
