There may be a slot as shown. Stick key in slot and see if it will then go in to Park - key on. If yours does not have that slot, then there should be a plastoc tab as shown, click on image. Use a flat screwdriver and pry tab off, then push on white plastic tab underneath. This is shifterlock override.

There's typically a small rectangular cover next to the shifter about the size of a dime. Pry this little panel off then push down on the button inside with a small tool (a key will work). This is a manual bypass to shift the transmission out of park.
