On my rifles both give good accuracy but what stands out to me is the lower SD, higher velocity and I can go a little longer before cleaning. I also use AR Comp for one of my bolt 308's with darn good results.

Myself I use Tac for 55 and 62 gr FMJBT's and CFE 223 for precision loads. You won't find any advantage using Tac over CFE 223 with plinking loads other than gaining experience with Tac. But trying new things is part of the fun in reloading. Use Ramshot data for Tac, it's right on.Look at the Hodgdon reloading page. They have data for the 77gr SMK and CFE223. I personally did not find any nodes with CFE223 that beat my TAC loads for velocity, SD, and group size in 77gr bullets. I think the burn rate for CFE223 is slower and it pressure spikes faster once you reach the max.

Hodgdon's published data, and also an article by Steve Gash about CFE powder they published in their 2013 reloading annual magazine, both are waaay more optimistic than my results: Hodgdon Manual (Speer SP 50-gr, 24-in barrel, WSR primer): 28.5 gr -> 3505 fps.
