Well, here is the box I designed and built that allows for full midgate functionality. It is permanately installed and does not have to be removed to use the midgate. Removal would require unbolting the rear seat and lifting it up to get it out, "good theft prevention." I used a JL Audio 8" subwoofer, I believe it is a 8W0 model, 4 ohm.480. Jul 28, 2015. #1.
