I bring it back to Subaru and today they inform me the noise is coming from the central diff/ transmission and they ask if I ever took the transmission apart. Nothing was ever done to the transmission. I have a 2016 Crosstrek premium model ( manual transmission). It has about 81K -82K miles on it.
