From what I've noticed, it seems that you only get anti barrier rounds when you pick up an orb, so basically when you proc volatile from volatile flow. If you proc it from Gyrfalcons, it just seems to not give you anti barrier rounds. gyrfalcons doesnt apply anti barrier if you first get volatile rounds from it, only extends it if you use it to ...

if you mean killing someone that's volatile and dragonfly/chain reaction triggers and both explosions do damage to enemies around them, yes they do stack. graviton lance with volatile flow is up there with best ad clear in the game. killing 1 enemy can result to clearing the room. Volatile works on Lance.
The Volatile Rounds is, surprisingly, what makes this Exotic so good. Since Void 3.0 subclasses were added to Destiny 2, Void debuffs have become very important. Many Aspects and Fragments take advantage of enemies who are Volatile from Volatile Rounds.
