Ok, found it, but not on this site. For those with the new Remlins, the serial number tells you nothing about the date of manufacture. You have to use the Remington barrel code found on the left side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver. In my case on my "Marlin Model 60 DLX" the code is KG - meaning May 2012.
