Does anybody know exactly what the second box is? Regardless, it seems like I would have to remove the first one to get to the main battery. When I was searching online, it seems that the older jeeps like the 2011 through 2015 only had one battery in this compartment but I definitely have an additional box. Jan 4, 2019 · Does anyone know where the separate auto/stop battery is located on a 2019 jeep Cherokee Latitude 4X4? My 5 month old jeep won't start and jumping it didn't work. Nothing happens, no clicking or noise of any type when I push the start button The remote start doesn't work either. The headlights and interior lights work fine.

They seem to fail first and then bring the charge down in the main battery shortly thereafter. Perhaps because the adaptive charging system is trying to charge the AUX and overcharges the main?
