P0090 Check engine code. I last drove my truck on Friday morning and it was running fine. I went to drive it today and before I started it, it gave me a reduced engine power warning, I hooked up my engine code reader and it spit out P0090. I did some research and found out it has something to do with a fuel pressure regulator.

I had the code read at Auto Zone. They said it had to do with fuel pressure control/performance. The code #P0089 says the fuel pressure solenoid control circuit voltage is implausible. The dealer replaced the battery and even though the P0091 code remained, no other instances of the truck dying happened.

I tried pulling the plug just to see if I noticed anything different and I ended up with p0090 and the high fuel rail pressure code which I think was p0088. I did end up replacing one of the small rubber fuel hoses during install and used the same procedures i as would changing a fuel filter.

Hey guys-. So yesterday the Duramax was totally dead. I kept getting code U0105, and the ECU fuse would blow every time I would turn the key. Cranks, no start. I isolated it to the wiring harness, and sure enough there was a spot where a metal bracket had worn through the wiring harness. I believe there is a procedure for reset and relearn. If you have a bidirectional scan tool, you should be able to activate it through the tool. The next thing to check is signal and ground to the solenoid. Ill do that. Thxs. But the codes P0181 & P0090 keep coming up, so it makes sense that it's the fuel temp. sensor.1. when was the last time you changed the fuel filter. The filter needs to be changed every 8000-10000 miles. 2. Your FPRV (fuel pressure relief valve) may need to be shimmed, but not many LMM need this. 3. You may need to look at getting a lift pump.
