You can still build toward an obstacle-based Cragheart. For one thing, many/most scenarios already contain single-hex obstacles, which the Cragheart uses to power its abilities. For two, there are higher levels you can sacrifice that don't really help toward the obstacle build much. Levels 6 and 7 can be used to take early obstacle cards. My Cragheart was a melee/obstacle build, so Stone Pummel was the natural choice, and it is awesome. That said, I think for you there can be a lot of value in going back for Kinetic Assault. Cragheart does not have a lot of access to top action Moves, and it has a fair number of good bottom actions to pair with it.
