I have plugged the internet cable that goes into my orbi router directly into my laptop. And my laptop could go on the internet, so the cable works fine. i pushed the reset button for 10 seconds (till the power led started blinking red), to get back to default settings. And then I used the app to try and reconfigure the orbi from the start up. Turn the RBR50 on and wait for it to go through its power-on routine. Press the reset button in the back using a paperclip and hold until the power LED flashes. Let the RBR50 go through its power-on routine. Your unit is now set to its factory default.
