It takes ~6 weeks for TMDSAS to process your application so use that time to work on the secondaries. If you have them all in by the time your primary application is processed, you may get interview invites very quickly.

Aim for a 2 week turnaround for most schools, especially for the ones with rolling admissions and an early interview season (e.g. Tulane, UMichigan, NYU, Mayo). Pay attention when schools give a deadline. Gyngyn was actually right tho. People submit secondaries as soon as they've thoughtfully completed them. There's no average time of submission. I know of people who submitted some 3 and even 4 weeks after the "two week soft deadline" and they still got II's at those schools.
