I'd recommend an SMG. Make sure everything is cleared - wait for a pause in the spawns before you go out to get the minotour. Solo Operative and Weakened Clear before you head out the door. Waste some heavy if you have to. For solo Master Spire, I'd recommend having a class item on swap that has Lucent Finisher. ImallOutOfBubbleGums.

I hear a lot of good things about levi s breath as it seems to stun the boss, I have not personally tried it out so i cant really give more details.It takes quite a bit of practice and build-crafting, but you could definitely do it if you set your mind to it! If Spire seems too daunting, you could try solo-ing some of the earlier dungeons, like Pit of Heresy or Shattered Throne.
