Ryobi 40v lawn mower self propelled not working.

Contacts are good and clean. I've tried using one battery a time, blowing out the ports on the lawn mower to make sure there is no debris. I've lowered the handle to the storage position and back, I've cleared out all gunk/grass from under the mower deck. Blade seems fine and unencumbered. I've had this mower for two seasons and don't mow every ...I guess it cleans the contacts. Last year when I brought my 40v out after winter storage, the metal clutch that engaged self propulsion snapped, I presume from being wet and rusting or corroding over the winter.
