Oncology is emotionally challenging and requires some maturity compared to some other fields with a lot less face to face patient contact. You may have only 0 or 1 or 2 "peers" to struggle together. Our training doesn't prepare us adequately for much outside of radiation oncology...out of curiosity, what do you do for a side gig (if anything)...
