I went into labor with the first 25 hours after my second sweep and with my second baby 12 hours after the third sweep. One or more sweeps increases your chances of spontaneous labor before 41 weeks. Didn’t work for me, I had two sweeps at 39 weeks and was also 2cm dilated. I gave birth 17 hours after my sweep.
