I'm exactly 6 weeks today. I've taken two blood tests and my hcg levels went from 67 to 701 in 5 days. I miscarried in May so anything out of the norm scares me. it just means your levels are getting high enough that it's stealing dye from the control, at 6 weeks that's normal. It's a dye stealer, I wondered that too!

In my experience, ICs are crap at detecting the subtle shifts in pregnancy hormones. Your best bet is to use a FRER or any other pink test to check the darkness (although I've had good luck with Clearblue as well). Also, remember that hormones typically double every 48hrs or so, so you may be within this window (thus your tests look the same).
Manda is right - it only picks up level of HCG. just to add be careful with the clearblue tests, I got a false negative after a certain hcg level with my pregnancy - caused so much heartache thinking it had gone wrong when it hadn't. Progesterone can't interfere with any tests tho. Was wondering the same thing.

The reason that it's fading is because your hormone levels are now so high, the tests are designed for the first 4-6 weeks really.
