Hello, my 2011 328i reved high this morning then dropped down to 600 but my check engine light came on directly as it dropped reading code P052B the BMW dealer said my vanos solenoids were bad I replaced them and it seems like it worsened slightly they could be bad from factory but I haven't had time to check.I just replaced the timing chain and oil pump chain on my 2013 328i Xdrive with N20 engine with 115k miles. Everything seemed to be a straightforward mechanical repair, other than it was a lot of work just to get to the timing chain.
