If you start a new wizard, it takes a few days (4-7) of constant grinding in wizard city to get to level 9/10 and get the quest to go to the Oasis in Krok. But if you have a full party from the start, you can blow through the place in just 2 days.To make leveling/Questing faster, there are a few things to do, optimize your deck(s) so that you can consistently pull what you need to make fights go faster, for low levels you can use TC enchants and hits to increase your damage output, and most importantly, find a group to quest with.The usual way is to farm Halfang Bristlecrown in Vestrilund but at your low level you just don't have a good way of getting to that much gold, which is on purpose. If you have a higher level character you can always farm Halfang, transfer the gear he drops to your low level and then sell it there. Unfortunately there's just no way to get enough ...

As far as fast leveling, Wintertusk quests give a ton of XP (level 50 to unlock it I believe). It might be worth your while to speed through Grizzleheim to get to those juicy XP quests.
