West Glacier is extremely convenient to the west side of the park - you should only be a few minutes drive to the west GTTSR entrance. It's farther from the east side - Many Glacier in particular is a few hours away. While there are rooms available most lodging inside the park does not open until late May or mid June due to it's still winter in the park.
