Mine is MX 5100 and I have HST filter and a reservoir filter. They are expensive from kubota, but this is NOT your best opportunity to save $. Same for crankcase filter, stay w/ OEM. You are fortunate. The UDT in my tractor was NOT synthetic, so the OM required a filter + fluid change.

When going up a hill you let off the pedal some to maintain a faster speed instead of mashing it to the floor.
