Its AoW is incredible slow to the points where it loses its usefulness. At that point it's basically a weapon with a colossal move set and nothing more. Being able to choose the Aow on the Greatsword already puts it ahead of Ghiza's but it also has a better moveset as well. Greatsword is a far more practical weapon. I recommend giving the frost Great Stars a go with Bloodhound Step, slows stamina and gives a 20% reduce on defense for your opponent. You probably noticed, but one handed charge on strong attack for Ghiza's Wheel is better than than the 2 handed and does more poise and bleed damage.
