At the end of July, 2014, the company released a striker-fired version of the LC9 chambered for 9mm Luger ammo, called the LC9s, with the primary selling point being a shorter, lighter, crisper, and in all other ways better trigger. Ergonomics: 3/5. Despite the size, the gun is designed well and accommodated my 2X hands nicely. While the controls were within reach, the EC9s takes a hit for lack of ambidextrous controls. Accuracy: 4/5. The sights feel very old school and are functional, but nothing to write home about.
The differences have been pointed out. Since this is a CCW forum I feel like it should be noted that the LC9 family can be upgraded to tritium sights. The EC9's sights cannot be upgraded, practically speaking. For me, tritium is a mandatory upgrade on any pistol that might need to be used for defense.

Overall, for similar sized guns, they sure felt different. The LC9s has a superior out of the box trigger pull (and I own 3 Glocks). The G43 trigger seems quite a bit heavier than most stock Glock triggers, and way heavier than the LC9s. However, the G43 has a much better reset than the LC9s.
