Using petty/lesser/common spells on my weapon with spell in other hand drains the charge. same issue using spells while bow is equipped by using Smart Cast rings. Filling soul gems works for me tho, but I've only filled a petty one so far. Edit: I think only the petty spell works. Lesser and common don't do anything.
