2017 G30 540i M Sport [0.00] B58 swap out questions. I spun a bearing in my G30 so I replaced the original engine w a rebuilt long block. I finished the swap yesterday. The only things I've changed that wasn't on the original block was an oil pressure switch. That was an informative article, but it still seems to be a little dated in regards to the B58. It still talks about it being fairly new and doesn't mention the B58TU update, which brought a major fueling upgrade. Plus there are dynos of B58's making over 800whp, and they're still showing 650.
