Uh my guy post ML calamity summoner gets insane. Don't want to spoil too much but you eventually can get what is basically the Terraprisma, though admittedly that's pretty far into the game. There's also other summons that require lower tier summoning items to craft as part of the recipe. Just keep pushing through and it will get better.
