I think projected hours matter a little less but still it shows you’re continuing to do activities and get clinical experience even though you applied. i’ve seen a similar story on SDN from an applicant with a 3.07 sGPA from undergrad and postbac and 508 mcat. Faha said they may not have a career in medicine without applying DO. Goro suggested try something else due to poor postbac performance. Others said apply DO.
