May 28th, 2023. All of the staff are extremely helpful and caring. This school is dedicated to help students achieve their dream goals and make sure they get the education and help needed. Lots of activities actively going on through out the week to help get students motivated and to add some fun in-between their studies. Amazing school.May 13th, 2020. For Credit: Yes. Textbook: No. Histology: This class meets M/W for 4 hours a day where around 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of looking at histological slides on a computer program. This class teaches you a lot about understanding the human body, great for med school.Dr. Hunt is my favorite professor at LSU. Like everyone says, he does come off a little strong in the first class, but he really is just a sweet guy and very understanding. Class is pretty lecture heavy, but it is not necessary to record every word he says. Lectures some days feel like 3 hours, but most of the time very interesting. Id retake him.Prof Protevi is one of my top professors at LSU. His class is lecture heavy, but he has amazing notes that he puts on moodle. You can definitely make an A if you pay attention in class and compare your class notes to his notes while studying for the tests. 2 midterms and a final, all written but graded fairly. Bucky is the best prof at LSU by far. his class is a presentation, 2 exams, ad a few other assignments, class is EXTREMELY fascinating from his stories he tells. make sure to get to class early bc he likes to start class 15min early before the schedule says. took all 3 classes (4830,4910,3718) he's the goat.

The best professor I've had in my 3 years at LSU. He turns a seemingly intimidating topic into a fun and interesting lesson every single class. He is an incredibly nice and funny guy and despite the sometimes confusing material, this class is a very possible A if an effort is applied. Best physics professor at LSU. This is my 3rd time taking physics and he is bar far the best professor I've had. Actually goes through problems, doesnt criticize when asking question, and is willing to help you understand the material.
