But after updates to both the iPhone app and the Kindle device the sync is not happening. I used to transfer pdfs and mobi's to my kindle by copying the files to the iPhone app. But now when I do this the PDF or the mobi file is only available in the iPhone app and is not getting synced in the Kindle.

I'm not sure if emailed PDFs sync to the PC. MOBIs (DOCs) definitely don't sync to the PC, they syncing is only for "mobile" devices (ereaders, tablets, phones). The workaround for a MOBI/DOC is an android emulator with the mobile version installed. Again, not sure about the PDFs. That’s a pain lol. Thanks for advice though.
