But if you want a suppressor adapter muzzle device, with enough room to definitively clear all suppressor options in the future, you need more barrel length. Maybe not a full 14.5, but close.

Lake City 5.56 is pretty good, Winchester Q131 is about as good, and most specialty defense ammo like TAP and Black Hills are very good as well. If you’re concerned about flash signature, avoid anything from PMC and some of the Eastern European surplus stuff out there.
