I've also seen that there are two different electrical connector configurations on the throttle body. Mine had the 6 pins in a row. I was able to track one down at the dealership.2. Push Accelerator. Apr 27, 2009 · Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) After doing a 6 hour drive, the ETC light as well as the ESP light came on a few seconds after I pulled into the garage and was about the shut the patriot off. The next day I drove it and there was no light and no noticeable difference in performance. Drove it again this morning and again no light. I have a Compass 4x4, 5speed (8k miles). Installing the K&N Cold Air Intake (around $220 for the kit) has improved throttle response and acceleration very significantly -the 172hp finally make sense!. Same thing happened to my 11a few days ago . I was going to shop to get a vibration checked. As I pulled in the same light came on and went into limp mode. Turned out to be the throttle body cost was just over $300 parts and labor. Helped the vibration too although not completely goneThanks for your quick response. So what you are saying is, that my in-line 6 pin is the newer connector and the throttle body sent has the old discontinued connector. So if I buy a new throttle body it should be the inline 6 pin.
