Jan 13, 2018 · Insert the DVD that came with the navigation system into the Honda's DVD slot. Press and hold the "Map," "Cancel" and "Menu" buttons until the diagnostic menu appears on the screen. Press the "Version" button on the diagnostic menu. Press the "Download" button. The system will reinstall the navigation software from the DVD. The "cleared code" response above led me to try clear any potential codes with a negative battery terminal disconnect for 10 minutes. Checked with battery tester and battery is good at 12V. Plugged everything back in and vacuum works on ACC and with engine on. Battery low warning while on ACC also has disappeared.Turns out, there were bite marks on the leading edge of the door weather stripping, with some very thin wire exposed in a couple spots. Did a part lookup and found that 72812-THR-A01 is the Door Sensor Assembly, and seems to be, well, important enough to stop the door from working. The knob should pull off. In the hole you should see a tiny light bulb and to the left a black micro switch. With the key on, push the micro switch. Your radio should power on.

There are 3 different actuator motors under the dash. One for the driver side temperature control, one for the passenger side and one for the floor v/s the upper vents control. The two that usually go bad are the driver's and passenger's side temperature control. The manual on/off switch for the front map lights use a different ground which is right at the light itself and, I think, is made by a screw/bolt in the light assembly that holds it in place to the body.
