I was really looking forward to new shard types, but they seem to be way too niche for a majority of frames. For example, emerald shards don't seem to be worth slotting on your frame if they can not inflict toxin or corrosive status effects.TL;DR version: Archon shards would feel more exciting if they were weaker (for example, 5% ability strength each) but you got more of them, more often.
