As TFH says, a failing battery, loose connections in the starting circuit, or a failing starter. Unfortunately, the Gen 3 Durango has had its issues with starting circuitry, relays, etc. Don. 2020 Destroyer Gray Durango SXT Plus (2/24/23 Warren MI)A few seconds pass and multiple warnings start and a message displays saying vehicle is shutting down, pull over and stop. Replaced the battery in the pickup, all good (bad cell). Jumped the D and it fired right up with a booster box, haven't had a problem since, making sure to drive it to work once every week or so, which is a one hour drive on the highway each way, last used it on Tuesday of this week, no issues. This morning went to start it, got nothing.

If the engine cranks briskly, your battery may be ok. You need fuel, spark, and compression to run. So, you are missing a least one. Have you tried battery reset to see if taking all of the systems back to zero helps? Disconnect negative cable, depress brake pedal 30 seconds, then reconnect and see what happens.

The Car runs normally most of the time. But sometime it Cranks but does not turnover and start completely. Does not appear to be Alternator Problem, Starter Problem or Battery Problem (just 1 year old). Mar 6, 2017 · My guess is the pump is the issue. Repop pumps, like sensors and thermostats, aren't very good. Try priming it by pressing the start button with no brake for a few seconds. Then if it starts with the brake / Start button then it's the fuel pump not holding it's pressure.
