I've noticed that other stages make you forego the gem tiles if you go down the path with Pilaf/Launch, 23-5 allows you to get both Pilaf & Launch when they sawn ... Can't farm them both at the same time but for green gems you can just use 30-4 since it'll also help you link leveling. Always use the category bonus drops when available, there's no penalty or cooldown when using this and it only helps. Before using the boost feature, always get a feel for the event, play 3-4 runs without any boosts and get a feel for the drop rate. It's worth using boost on events with high drop rates.
